Wonderfull Christmas for my Daughter

One of the best Christmas parties for children I ever attended was just last year. the party was held at my daughter's pre-school.
It was fantastic. One of the teachers dressed as Santa Claus and distributed toys to each of the children. This happens at many parties ,but what made this one truly unique was that they showed the children how the holiday is celebrated across the globe.
It began with them teaching the kids to say Merry Christmas in French , Spanish , German and Italian. The children were then given a chance to taste foods , cookies and cakes from all of these countries.
They also let the children hang fruit and candy on trees , as is traditional in France. The kids were allowed to play dress up using elf hats and got to make "elf shoes" with bells out of felt.
We read the children stories , an done of the mothers who was from Greta Britain read a story that she was familiar with from her childhood.
It was a great experience for all the kids. The final thing that we did at the party was to put together a basket.
The basket was meant to be given to a family that was struggling. The kids brought in necessary items and some fun items as well.
It was a perfect party that balanced fun with learning. My daughter still talks about the party and how much fun she had.
