Teddy Bear Activities And Teddy Bear Games

Teddy Bear activities like the ones mentioned below are so easy for parents and caregivers to immediately come up with to entertain little children on a rainy day.

You can play these teddy bear activities both indoor and outdoor and they can be as much fun for one child as much as for a group of little kids.

Here are a few teddy bear games you will enjoy playing with your preschooler and their bears.

Teddy Bear Games And Activities

  • Put a wardrobe together
  • If your child is old enough to have a reasonable amount of manual dexterity, take a few pieces of felt and a pair of snub-nosed scissors.

Show your child how he or she can cut out clothes for her fluffy friend, perhaps by giving her a paper "pattern." Then take some fabric glue and and put the pieces together.

See what kind of wardrobe that you can come up with in this teddy bears crafts!

  • Doctor Doctor!
  • Teddy bear games and activities can be extremely variable, due to the versatility - and long suffering nature!- of the toy.

In his free kid game you can give your child a long white shirt and tell her that she's a doctor and has a patient. You can give her a popsicle stick for a tongue depressor and let her examine her bear on the kitchen table.

While you might want to make sure she doesn't feel the need to operate, this can be fun for hours, depending on the child.

  • Stage a Play
  • When there are many children involved, these Bear activities can be even more fun.

If you have a play date scheduled or having a Teddy Bear tea party, ask your guests to bring their favorite Teddy Bear along; there are lots of things that a few children and their bears can do!

One thing that they can do is to have a little skit. Make a kitchen or coffee table their stage and the Teddy Bears the actors.

Suggest that they act out Goldilocks and the Three Bears, or have them come up with something totally original.

  • Teddy Bear Tea Party
  • Have a Teddy Bear tea party in which children can exchange bears and tell each other a little bit about the bear that they are now holding.

Ask them leading questions if they seem a bit tongue-tied, like, "where did your bears come from?" and "what does he like to eat?"

This is a wonderful ice breaker if your children are a bit shy.

  • Beary Educational
  • A more education teddy bear activity is to play quiz time on each of their bears when kids are in a group.

Ask questions like, "Which bear is the largest?" and "Which bear is the heaviest?" and have them point to the correct bear.

This is a good way to start children on things like comparisons and colors.

These Teddy Bear activities and games can be a lot of fun, but don't be limited by our suggestions here; use your imagination and come up with lots of other activities for your child and their friends!
