Sunshine Beach Birthday Party

My daughters birthday falls in November so it is always too cold to have a bouncy castle outside. We decided as there had not been too much summer we would have a summer beach party.
I hired the meeting rooms, took my stereo, disco lights and played silly holiday songs eg. conga, limbo, birdy song, feeling hot hot hot! etc. We had a bouncy castle inside.
I made a beach scene with yellow sheets and inflatable palm trees surrounded by shells from the beach. I used scene setters of the sea side and stuck them on the walls together with garlands of flowers and lanterns.
The children dressed in beach short or hula skirts the brighter the better. I put fresh pineapples out on the tables and blew up lots of balloons for the floor together with beach balls. It was great!
