Musical Chairs - Eternal Favorite!

Kids love Birthday Parties!! Infact, we, as parents do not need to complicate matters here. Cake, balloons, streamers, games, yummy snacks, music, magic-show, tattoos, friends…….the list is endless. But, as long as the atmosphere is lively, with great dance numbers playing for them to dance and jump around, young children really do not demand much. Frankly, keep it simple (as long as you can!).

Well, we can have a delicious and wholesome menu to include the birthday cake, say, Chocolate Walnut, then burgers, tofu frankies, cheese spinach sandwiches, fries, strawberry shakes/ smoothies, ice-cream, pasta, noodles, chocolates! Whew! The menu should be such that the meal becomes filling for the children as well as it should offer ample choice to them. Chips and chocolates can be offered beforehand, while the games are on, for the children to munch on!

One can arrange for a child-friendly magician to show them tricks for say around 30 minutes. Longer than that gets boring for kids.
Musical chairs is a nice, fun game to break the monotony of sitting at one place. Kids can clap and run around energetically in this!
Tattoos can be painted on their faces and arms by a hired artist!

Children also love bursting balloons by jumping on them! So have ample balloons in the decorated venue 

A Fancy-dress competition can also be arranged with the theme say, ‘Your favorite cartoon character’ for the kids, or ‘Colourful animals/ sea-animals’.

Basically, the idea is a fun evening for all! Let there be no restrictions and remember to give small prizes for the top 3 winners in each game, as well as interesting return-gifts to all kids! Celebrate!!
