RACING CAR CAKE PARTY

My grandson Sahishnu is a toddler of 3 yrs old.His birthday falls on oct 20th.

He is such a cute fussy type boy who loves
to have a big gathering around him.So we planned to have a B'day party with lot of tiny tots around.But the thing is we didnot konw how to make the little angel to understand the idea of celebrating a function especially for him.we decided to get the proceedings from himself.My daughter and her husband talked full 2 hours about his b'day party.

In the end my brilliant boy asked his mother what did they mean by party?I as a retired teacher asked him to name a thing he likes very much.At once came the reply "car" as I expected but what he forgot to inform me was a race car which is his favourite.Then I asked him what color he likes to have for his new dress.Pat came the reply yellow.

Then we sat and made him to tell us the names of his friends who are to be invited for the party.He gave as many names he could recollect which included his parents and my name too.
Then his parents made a painul attempts to select a dress for him.After a search of a dozen shops they selected a pearl white silk pyjama with yellow kurta.Golden lines zigzagged the kurta with red rose embroidary sparkling on both sides of the chest.A long white shawl added to be worn above kurta.A hydrabad pearl necklace was selected to match his costume.

Birth day card preparation started 10 days ahead of his party day.Because all the cards were hand made.We carefully cut red color papers in a car shape and pasted them on yellow card board sheets,decorated the borders with glittering glue green in color.Inside we scribbled like him inviting the friends.

Now preparation for party was partially over.Last but not least is the order for cake is given.Sahishnu's father gave orderfor a cake in racing car shape.Yellow color to be in domination.

Sahi was thrilled but still didnot know why all these commotions were going on.We took sahi to all his friends' house to invite them for the party.All were happy to attend his 3rd b'day party.

The grand day rolled in and we decorated our house with usual balloons and color papers.Dinner menu was prepared as egg noodles,sause,chappatti with allu mutter curry and ofcourse chicken biriyani with onion pachaddi.Palpayasm,
vadai,potato chips were extra specials.

The party started at 10 am sharply.Children with allshades of dress driped in like twinkling stars along with their parents.As the festive mood gathered momentum the gigglings and shoutings filled the hall.

Our hero with his dashing b'day dress enterd the hall with a shy smile as he never attened a function before.One thing he understood that some gala time is going on only to honour him.His friends shouted his name and ran to kiss him.Sahisnu felt little uneasy as the video started to focus on him.But he clearly understood that he was the iomportant person on that day,So he gave a victorious smile at the video.

The cake was resting on the decorated table.All the tiny tots eyes rested on that as they waited for the memorable time to come to cut the cake.Sahisnu smartly stood near the table and looked up to his father for help which at once displayed.The cake pieces were distributed to the guests by the b'day boy.

As planned we invited all the dashing damsels and yappys to the center of the hall.We gave each one a different doll and requested all to talk about the dolls they had in their hands.First my grand son talked happily about his favourite car.Then one by one talked about their toys.As the time passed it became a curious one for even adults,they started to help their wards and it ws an enjoyable one.The little ones talked with all sorts of mistakes only for everyones laughter and enjoyments.

All the participants were given a car as a memento.The party ended after the dinner which all enjoyed.It was all recorded in the video as it was an unforgettable event in my grandson's life.
