Christmas is the time for children all round the world with colored lights, decorations, gifts, yummy food, secrets, surprises and parties. Christmas parties are an outlet for children's excitement.
So planning a party is a great way to get them focused and involved in creative activities. Preparing for the party should be done a week or two before a party.
Keep aside a time so the kids will look forward to the activity, like making decorations, christmas tree , paper garland and goodie bags made with paper bags.
Making their own christmas card for parents too will be fun. Preschool and kindergarten parties are of four phases: setting up the party can also be fun.
Plan the party for the afternoon, so during the morning the children can decorate the classroom. Make each child to make a decoration and allow them to place it on the tree.
Get them involved in making their own goody bags to take home with whatever items of decoration they bring and put them into the bag too.
Dressing them up like elves, santaclaus, like a shepherd boy and other such customs will also be fun. Another fun thing is decorating the tree and singing christmas caroles.
Classroom games like muscial presents can also be fun. Simple food like cupcakes and punch. Some candy, cookies or brownies too.
Exchanging of presents can also be fun. Last of all making cleaning up fun, so kids will always look forward to the next party.
