My cousin's birthday party

My cousin :-)

It was my 5 year old cousin's birthday and all his friends had come for the party. He just loves red color. So, we made sure that the entire decoration was in red. Even the cake we got for him was in pink (we didn't get one in red).

We didn't keep any theme for the dresses. Kids wore anything they wanted to. My cousin was wearing a white shirt and blue short. Parents were also invited for the party. We served the pizzas and fruit drinks first. Then the cake was served along with chips and cookies.

We had arranged for games like hide-n-seek and color-man. In Hide-n-Seek, one of the kids was asked to find the others who were hiding at places within the room. For safety reasons, we didn't allow the kids to hide anywhere other than the party room. Color-man was a game which was enjoyed by all the kids. It was also good from educational point of view. One of the kids said the name of a color and the rest had to spot anything inside the room which was of the mentioned color.

After that the kids were asked to sing poems or songs of their choice. The one who sang the best was given a keepsake in the shape of guitar. Then, the music was turned on and kids were asked to dance. They looked very cute dancing on the tunes of famous songs. My cousin danced a lot and was reluctant to stop even after the music had stopped.

In the end, all the kids were given stuffed toys. My cousin received many gifts which he loved a lot. It was a very memorable party for all of us. I'm sure the memories are going to stay for long.
