Kids Dinosaur party

When my son was in grade primary, we had a dinosaur themed birthday party. I printed and cut out colouring picture of dinosaurs and glued the dinosaurs to a strip of paper and had the kids choose and colour one when they came in to use as their party hat.

We played Pin the Horn on the Triceratops and a version of musical chairs except we used dinosaur feet that the kids would stand on. The best part was the loot bag!

I papier mached 15 dinosaur eggs and filled them with treats and then closed them up and put them in a laundry basket filled with straw that you get for Easter baskets to make it look like a nest and when the children brought my son the gift they had for him, they got a dinosaur egg. It was a big hit!

I even made the cake myself and used a round bowl to bake a round cake to use as a volcano and bought little dinosaur figures to put on the cake. My son loved it.
