Halloween Themed Party

My 4 year old son attended a birthday party this past weekend; it was a Halloween themed party. The kids wore their costumes and played many games: "Pass the Pumpkin" (smiliar to hot potato), instead of using a potato the kids passed around a very tiny pumpkin or gourd.
The music used was Halloween music. The kids also bobbed for apples, which was really cute. There was also a bean bag toss with an orange posterboard hung onto the wall with a jack o lantern drawn on it.
The kids tossed the bean bags, the eyes were the highest point value, mouth the lowest because it was drawn the biggest. The kids really liked this. A ring toss game was also a big hit. Glow in the dark necklaces were thrown onto witches hats.
An art table was available to any kids who wanted to take a break from games. There was lots of black construction paper, chalk, googly eyes and Halloween stickers for kids to make spiders, ghosts and anything else that they wanted.
It was relatively mess free and fun for the kids to get creative. The goodie bags were simple Halloween bags with candy in them, vampire teeth and funny glasses.
At cake time the kids sat down to decorate there very own cupcake with Halloween themed decorations. This was a really fun party; the kids had a blast and it looked very easy to do!!
