Play the music for a minute or so, then turn it off and yell "freeze!" When you yell "freeze," the children are to stop moving and stay as still as possible. If they move, they are "out," and have to sit in their spot until the game is over. The last child standing is the winner!
No kid halloween party is complete without the perennial favorite game of bobbing for apples. To play this game, you will need a small wading pool or tub filled with water and enough apples for each guest. Each guest will get a chance to "catch" an apple with their teeth while keeping both hands behind their back. A simpler variation of this game to suit a preschool halloween party is "bobbing for dough nuts." Use string to hang plain dough nuts from a tree, indoor light fixture or ceiling. The goal of the game is to eat your dough nut without using your hands. The first one to finish their dough nut wins! More Halloween Games For Kids
Play this halloween game outdoors or indoors, provided you have enough space and lots of little guests attending. To play this game, you will need four large bowls, enough popcorn to fill the bowls, and two small paper cups. Place two bowls with popcorn on a table and divide the guests into two teams. Have each team line up single file 50 feet away from the table. Give the first guest in each line a paper cup, and the guest standing right behind them a bowl. When you say, "go!" the first guest in line runs to their bowl on the table, scoops out some popcorn with their cup, and runs back to empty their cup into the bowl being held by the team member that was standing behind them. Before going to the end of the line, the team member holding the cup gives their cup to the team member holding the bowl, who then gives the bowl to the guest standing behind them. The relay continues this way until one team empties out their bowl on the table completely and fills their team's bowl with popcorn.
