Fun With My Preschoolers

As a Mom of three preschoolers there has been many an afternoon where I've heard "I'm bored" or "I'm don't want to play that anymore."
As a result I came up with a couple games that the children all enjoy and keeps them busy.

1. Family Dance Time

We make a game out of dancing around the front room. I turn on the radio and with every different song they have to come up with a different dance.
The kids love this game and have spent hours playing it.


2. Cooking Game

My kids love cooking and so I find easy recipes for them to help me with. Like so many things I make a game out of it. They love it. I will get out the ingredients that we need for the recipe and put them in different places in the kitchen. Like on the counter behind a box or on one of the table chairs.

They each take turns finding what we need when we need it. One of the things they love doing this with is Pita Pizzas.

For this you will need: Pitas, Jar of favorite pizza sauce, grated cheese, and pepperoni. Also what ever else you might want.I will hide the jar of pizza sauce somewhere like behind the fruit basket. Who ever finds the pizza sauce first gets to put the sauce on.

Then the same method goes with the rest of the ingredients.The kids love doing this. It's not a game in the way that someone wins because in these games everyone wins because everyone is having a good time.
