Finding Nemo Birthday Party

This year we had a Disney's Finding Nemo birthday party for my 4-year-old son. He had recently been on the new Finding Nemo ride at Disneyland and was obsessed with the movie.
For the party at our house, we turned the family room into an under the sea adventure. We had blue crepe paper everywhere, decorated the walls -which already happened to be blue - as if it were under the sea, laid out brown material on the floor, put in fake sea plants, etc. For food, we had gold fish, of course, swedish fish candy and shark gummies, a nemo cake and "sand-dollar" mini pizzas.
The kids watched the movie while they ate and then played games such as go fishing behind a curtain on our stairs, ping pong throw into fish bowls, making their own fish "suits" from white bathing suits that they decorated with fabric markers, and then swimming in the pool.
The older kids and adults got to decorate their own fish bowls which was a big hit especially with all the older siblings at the party.
The swimming pool was filled with fish and ocean-themed floaties for the kids to play on and we had contests where the winner got to "ride the current" with the turtle, who was my dressed up husband.
The kids all had an absolute blast, and everyone got a goldfish as a party favor to take home!
