Fairy Princess Party

My daughter recently attended a fairy themed party.
All of the little girls were given a pair of wings when they walked in the door (the wings were bought at a Wal-Mart during Halloween time on the cheap!).
The mother of the birthday girl also sprinkled each girl with “fairy dust” (glitter) as she walked into the party.
Very light music filled with bells played on the stereo and it created a sort of magical feel to the room. The room was decorated with purple bean bag chairs and oversized pillows, and giant paper flowers were interspersed throughout.
Fairy Party Games
For games, the girls played “Grant a wish,” a game that involved each girl writing down or drawing a wish, and then each girl getting turns to be the designated “wish granter.”
They also played on a “Fairy Flight” outside. In this game, the girls tried to out-hop one another. The first task was to see who could hop around the longest, and after they rested a few minutes they were to see who could hop the farthest.
Fairy Party Cake
After the games, the girls had the obligatory cake and ice cream, only they had cupcakes with Tinkerbelle figurines on top of them that they could take home.
Gift Bags
The gift bags had a jar of “fairy dust” (make-up glitter), a magic wand (a glow-stick), a bag of Fairy Food (Skittles), and they got to keep their wings! This was the perfect party for the girls!
