Expressing thru Playdoh, Dora games & drawing/coloring!!

My 5 yr. old was diagnosed with ADHD so I try to find ways to comfort her or calm her down and that is thru Playdoh.

It allows her to be her and express herself in so many ways. She loves to build anything and everything such as flowers, baskets, cars with a road.

Children with ADHD need alot of attention and tend to love art so playing with Playdoh allows her to do this.

She also loves playing with her Dora games. The game set has 8 different games in it. Her favorite is Dora's Bingo. She loves the clear colored chips and playing with her own chips and board piece makes her feel independent.

She also loves the flash cards. There are 4 different sets of flash cards she can choose from. Her favorite is the matching set. She loves matching things such as her toys and even the clothes she wears to school. So of course she is going to love matching cards. Matching cards allows her mind to think about what card is where. It can get confusing at times but she tends to be really good at this.

Drawing is also one of her favorite things to do. She draws more than anything. Her father is an artist so she tends to spend alot of time drawing with him, me or even on her own. She's very good and it's the most expressive way she can express herself.
