I am a current pre-k sunday teacher at local church, and last Easter, we celebrated it with a most brilliant game ever! Every kids loved it so much they share the story with their parents after the game.
First of all, the game had to be something everybody can participate without feeling of rejection or jealousy, and this Easter egg hunt was perfect idea!
Okay. Let me tell you how to prepare this game. First of all, prepare a 20 pieces zig-saw puzzle game. Carefully finish the puzzle and flip it to its back. Write down the secret location where you hid the treasure with big, bold print. This way, they have to gather all the puzzle pieces to read the secret print in the back.
Now, undo the puzzle pieces and place each puzzle piece in each plastic Easter eggs and hide them so kids can find them.
Kids have to work in a group to find this treasure. They hunt for eggs and gather all puzzle pieces. They will open plastic eggs and together try to finish the puzzle.
After they gather all the puzzle they read the secret location where treasure is hidden. They all go to the secret location to find the treasure together!!
The important thing to remember is you MUST have something for EVERYBODY where the treasure is hidden! It can be candies, pencils, or toys. This game requires all kids to work in a group, so they will learn how to help others and how to work with others. Very fun game with learning objects. Recommended!
