Duck Duck Goose, Hot Potato & More

by Kevin
(Austria)

Just last month my preschooler attended a birthday party for a friend that she had just met in Sunday school. The children played games that they all seemed to enjoy. Including musical chairs, hot potato (played by passing a balloon), duck duck goose, and pin the tail on the donkey.

All of the children won prizes just for their efforts in playing the games, and the children that actually won the games were given larger prizes. Of course one of the things that the children had the most fun doing was trying to break open the pony shaped piƱata.

And they were all beyond thrilled when all of the treats spilled out! They all rushed to get as many of the treats as they could. All of the food was child-sized and they just loved it.

They served slider sandwiches, birthday cupcakes rather than cake, and kid-sized cups filled with snacks, and of course juice boxes. All of the children who attended the party were given gift bags filled with candy, small toys, games, and jewelry.

All of kids came dressed in their brightly colored casual clothes many with shirts that featured their favorite cartoon character, most were wearing athletic shoes.

They all came dressed to have fun, and they did!
