Amazing Games and Delicious Food for Halloween party

by Sandra
(CA, USA)

I had a Halloween party for my four-year old and her classmates. I served fruit punch (blood) with an ice hand in the bowl (fill up a rubber glove with water, tie it off, and freeze it).

I made a pizza with a spooky face on it made with the toppings and veggies and pumpkin pie. I made peanut brittle and caramel apples for their treat bags to take home.

For games, we had a coloring contest (I got pictures from Halloween clip-art), broke open a ghost pinata, played the apple-on-a-string game (where you tie apples to tree branches and then have a contest to see who can take the most bites out of it), played hide-and-go seek in the cornfield, and then watched It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!

We also had everyone dress up when they came to our house and then had a costume contest-I made sure I had enough prizes for all the kids and then made up awards for all them (scariest, prettiest, best make-up, etc) It was a really cute party and I had a lot of fun playing with the kids.

Most things we did were pretty traditional, but it was still fun for the kids and me!
